Activities & Creativity
(Nutrition, nap, rest and downtime)
Art
A voice beyond words. Children often use art to help them process their experiences and deal with overwhelming emotions. Art provides kids with critical sensory input and can help children express their feelings in a multidimensional way even if they lack the vocabulary to describe their feelings with words. Even if they aren’t the ones creating the art, just being around art can provide children with enough sensory input to kick start their imagination and engage their curiosity.
Music
Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. It helps children build motor skills while allowing them to practice self-expression.
Movement
Movement has long-term health benefits for all, regardless of age, gender, disease or disability. On top of increasing and maintaining our muscular strength, physical fitness and cardiovascular health. In children, movement improves bone health, weight status and cognitive function.
Yoga for Kids!
Studies show that Yoga can benefit children significantly. It improves balance, strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity in children. Yoga and mindfulness offer psychological benefits as well.
Organic Gardening
A garden can be an interactive playground for kids that will engage all of their senses. It's where they can touch and feel the fruits of their labor, fancy the bright coloured flowers, grow accustomed to natural scents and the sound of the rustling shrubs.
Zumba For Kids!
It's another fun way to exercise.
The children love the party feel of our Zumba fitness that encourages them to move and shake freely and be creative with their own dynamic dance steps. To feel fearless on the dance floor during our "dance and play" class, as we get into action, learning, singing and playing along the way.
Nutrition
Nutrition is important at every age. Your children need proper nutrients stay healthy and strong, and grow up healthy and strong. Nutrition for children can also help establish a foundation for healthy eating habits and nutritional knowledge that your child can apply throughout life.
Puppet Play!
Puppets are engaging toys that can help support oral language skills and communication, social/emotional development, and help children learn and understand the world around them through safe, imaginative play.
Nap and Rest
Sleep plays an important role in the everyday lives of young children, and influences their lifelong development and health. A child who is well rested is better able to concentrate, take on new information, interact positively with others, and deal with conflict and challenges.
